Querida Carmela

 

Dear Carmela.

 

Natalia has known Carmela for many years,

but they’ve drifted apart ever since Carmela moved to Argentina.

Tana is Carmela’s and Natalia’s former coworker,

and she’s now Natalia’s neighbour.

Although they don’t see each other much during the year,

all of them make an effort to spend some time together at Christmas.

 

A web of connections that takes on more meaning at Christmas,

where the most important thing is to spend time with the people who matter to us.

I hope you’re doing very well in Argentina.

 

I’m so jealous that it’s summer over there!

I’ll invite myself over next year so we can spend Christmas Eve together wearing bikinis.
